New Athens home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in New Athens rose by $42,000 while total sales increased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $101,500 - a 70.6% increase over the $59,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in New Athens in the fourth quarter of 2017.
