Edwardsville home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Edwardsville rose by $19,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 35 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 11.8% increase over the $161,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Edwardsville in September 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Edwardsville for 2017 was $4,028. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,621. This marks an increase of 11.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
