2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Calhoun County?

There were seven offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Calhoun County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows that six men and one women were released in Calhoun County. The median age of the parolees was 41. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 50-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jennifer Camden. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when she was 40 years old. She is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Calhoun County municipality.
