Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jersey County?

There were five offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Jersey County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows that three men and two women were released in Jersey County. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2018, and the oldest was a 37-year-old woman sentenced for a sex crime in 2007.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Nicole Uhlir. She was convicted of a sex crime in 2007 when she was 25 years old. She is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Jersey County municipality.
