There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62289, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows that the man was released in the Centralia zip code. The 50-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a financial crime or fraud in 2018 when he was 49 years old.
