City of O'Fallon issued the following announcement on June 25.
A town hall meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at O’Fallon City Hall (255 S. Lincoln Ave.) beginning at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the town hall meeting is to provide updates on City business and answer questions from the community. All are invited to attend and participate.
The meeting will be aired live and available following the meeting “on demand” at the City’s website: https://www.ofallon.org/public-access-television/pages/video-on-demand.
“One of my campaign promises was to be more available to the residents of O’Fallon,” said Mayor Roach. “We have been holding these town hall meetings quarterly to present updates about the City of O’Fallon and answer any questions that our residents might have.”
In addition to questions from the community, other topics that will be covered at the town hall include construction projects and a discussion on the new state laws, including:
- Recreational Marijuana
- Minimum Wage
- Online Sales Tax
- Motor Fuel Tax
- Capital Bill
- Gambling
