Brighton (Jersey County) home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Brighton in Jersey County rose by $34,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,000 - a 48.6% increase over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Brighton in the second half of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Brighton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,924, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
