City of Alton issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.
The City of Alton, Illinois is accepting proposals from engineering consultants for construction engineering services for the Gordon Moore Park Entrance Improvements, which will be constructed at the intersection of IL RT 140/111 and Parker Road/Swinney Street, which is the main entrance to Moore Park. The evaluation criteria and weighting for this project is as follows: Experience and Technical Competence = 30%; Capacity and Capability = 30%; Past Record of Performance = 30%; Local Presence = 10%.
Consultants should request a proposal packet from the Alton Public Works Department, which is located at 2 Emma Kaus Lane in Alton, Illinois. The proposal packet contains a detailed description of the project, the estimated construction cost, and the anticipated project schedule.
Proposal responses are due November 12, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Alton Public Works Department, 2 Emma Kaus Lane, Alton, Illinois 62002. The technical proposal must not contain any cost information. All proposals shall include a conflict of interest form.
Proposals will be evaluated and at least three consultants will be selected to interview for this project. Interviews of consultants for this project will held on November 15, 2019.
