The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Roxana Community Unit School District No. 1 was called to order by President, Clyde “Butch” McGill, at 6:00 p.m. on October 17, 2019 held in the Board Room, 401 Chaffer Avenue, Roxana, Illinois 62084.
Members Present: S. Keller, C. Harris, G. Phipps, S. Palen, B. McGill
Members Absent: P. Devening, C. Owsley

1. Phipps moved and Harris seconded the motion that the Board of Education approve the consent agenda as presented.

2. Harris moved and Palen seconded the motion that the Board of Education accept the resignation of Tom Campbell as a custodian.

4. Harris moved and Palen seconded the motion that the Board of Education approve the audit for the year ending June 30, 2019 from Dennis Rose and Associates.

5. Harris moved and Keller seconded the motion that the Board of Education approve the certified seniority list for 2019-2020.

Phipps moved and Harris seconded the motion that the Board of Education go into closed session pursuant to Section 2 of the Open Meeting Act to review: The appointment, employment,compensation, and/or discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body; collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; discipline, suspension, or expulsion of individual students of the District.
