1 St. Clair County resident in thirties tests positive for COVID-19 on June 30

One St. Clair County resident in his or her thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on June 30, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 282 positive cases reported in St. Clair County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 15 percent of all cases in the county. Through June 30, St. Clair County has reported a total of 1,874 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 135 of which have ended with the victim's death.

Illinois gathers all of their COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
