TOUCHETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL: Introduces A New Adult Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program

Touchette Regional Hospital issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.

Touchette Regional Hospital is excited to introduce its new Adult Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program. The program will offer guidance through withdrawal management from drugs and alcohol, as well as involve individual and group therapy to assist the individual with the stressors that may have led to the substance abuse.

The emphasis of treatment is on providing tools, resources, support and coping skills through structured programming to promote recovery. To further assist you, our Intake Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 618-332-4038 if you need someone to talk to but are not sure who to call.

Criteria for the program is as follows: Client must be age18 or older, willing to attend both individual and group therapy sessions, able to verbalize the reason they were referred to or are attending the program, and able to understand stated goals and actively participate in group therapy sessions.

Touchette Regional Hospital accepts Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans and the uninsured.
