City of Granite City Finance Committee met Nov. 17.

Alderman Jackstadt call the Finance Committee Meeting to order.
Jackstadt turned the meeting over to Comptroller Oney to discuss the Tax levy.
Comptroller Oney gave everyone a hand out of the tax levy and explained the increase from the previous years, and the increase will be voted on the next Council Meeting. Jackstadt stated that next is a Resolution to authorize the hire of three Fire Fighters that is up for approval tonight.
MOTION By Jackstadt, second by Mathes to approve the Resolution to authorize the hire of three Fire Fighters. ALL VOTED YES. Motion Carried.
Jackstadt stated that next on the agenda is a Video Gaming issue and it has been resolved.
MOTION By Jackstadt, second by Williams to Adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting.
MEETING ADJOURNED.
