Fairmont City (St. Clair County) home prices rose in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Fairmont City in St. Clair County rose by $5,200 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,500 - a 11% increase over the $47,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Fairmont City in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairmont City for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,078, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
