Smithton median home prices fell by 1.4% in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Smithton fell by $3,250 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $236,000 - a 1.4% decrease over the $239,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Smithton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Smithton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,984, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
