First half of 2022: Home prices in Summerfield increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Summerfield rose by $32,550 while total sales increased by 100 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,500 - a 90.5 percent increase over the $35,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Summerfield in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Summerfield for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,912, approximately 2.8 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
