LAST GAME: Macy Silvey's 14 points led the Cougars, but Little Rock took a 25-point lead at the half to edge SIUE, 76-59 on Saturday afternoon at Jack Stephens Center. SIUE, however, flipped a switch in the second half, knocking down seven of its first eight shots to cut the deficit to 15 points. The Cougars kept their foot on the gas for the remainder of the period, outscoring Little Rock 27-18. The Cougars shot 56 percent (9-16) and were 4-6 from deep while outrebounding the Trojans 10-4 in the third. SIUE outscored Little Rock 44-36 and remained strong rebounding, owning the glass 24-10 in the final 20 minutes.

HAVE A GAME, MACY: Silvey scored a career-high 14 points against the Trojans, 12 of which came in the second half. She was 4-6 from deep, setting a career best in three pointers made. Her four rebounds also set a personal best mark.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE TROUBLE: Ajulu Thatha has recorded nine double-doubles this season, including last Thursday vs. UT Martin. She is averaging 17.3 points and 10.3 rebounds since beginning league play. The senior leads the conference in rebounds per game (8.0) and double-doubles this season.

ALL TIME REBOUNDS: Thatha passed Amy Tuetken (1993-96) last time out at Little Rock for 20th on the Cougars' all-time leaderboard. Thatha has collected 539 over her career at SIUE (178o-361d). She leads the league averaging 8.22 this season.

DISH IT AND TAKE IT: KK Rodriguez ranks 10th in the OVC averaging 2.95 assists per game. The 5-6 transfer from Tulsa leads the Cougars with 56 this season. She also ranks 12th in the conference averaging 1.65 steals per contest. Her 9.7 points per game is third on SIUE since the start of conference play.

LOWIS IS LEADING Sofie Lowis is second on SIUE and 14th in the OVC averaging 11.74 points per contest. She also leads the league and ranks 64th in the country with 152 three-point attempts. Her four three pointers on Jan. 5 vs. Tennessee State tied a season high. Lowis is tied for sixth in the OVC averaging 1.70 threes made and has connected on 39 from deep this season. She leads SIUE with 15 games in double figures.

DO IT FOR FREE: The Cougars lead the OVC and rank 34th in the NCAA averaging 14.52 free throws made per game. SIUE ranks second in the OVC and 53rd nationally in free throw attempts per game at 19.87. Thatha's 133 attempts leads the conference and ranks 31st in the country. Her 100 free throws made also leads the league and ranks 36th nationally.

LET IT FLY: SIUE ranks third in the OVC averaging 19.4 three-point attempts per game. The Cougars rank fourth connecting on an average of 5.5 threes per game. SIUE's three point defense also ranks third, holding shooters to 29.8 percent.

CRASH THE GLASS: The Cougars lead the league in offensive rebounds per game at 12.1 and average rebounds per game at 35.35. Thatha ranks second in the OVC averaging 2.52 offensive rebounds per game while Olivia Clayton's 1.86 ranks 10th.
