City of Belleville Streets & Grades Committee met Feb. 21.

Motion to approve Christ Bros. Asphalt lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $699,889.49 for improvements to Mascoutah Ave. Work consists of HMA surface removal and replacement, sidewalk removal, construction of new sidewalk ramps, curb removal, new concrete curb, detectable warnings, pavement markings, signs, and all other work necessary to complete the project. (ARPA Funds)
2. Forest Ave.
Motion to approve Rooters Asphalt, lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $560,936.35 for improvements to Forest Ave., from McKinley to East Monroe Street. Work consists of removal and replacement of asphalt, curb and guttering. (RBI Funds)
3. CDBG Agreement for South Church St.
Motion to enter into an agreement with CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) for the construction of road improvements on South Church St., in the amount of $425,500.00.
4. Motion to approve the standard annual MFT IDOT Contracts showing in the following list:
4a. 2024 Infrastructure Program
Hank’s Excavating & Landscaping, Inc., lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $310,850.60.
4b. 2024 Sidewalks Program
Hank’s Excavating & Landscaping, Inc., lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $147,274.00.
4c. 2024 Traffic Signals Program
Electrico, Inc., lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $83,807.76.
5. Reunion Blvd.
Motion to approve Rooters Asphalt lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $273,629.25 for improvements to Reunion Blvd. Work consists of milling existing pavement, removal and replacement of concrete gutters, Class D patching, placing a hot-mix asphalt binder course and placing a hot-mix asphalt surface course.
