Mrs. Janice Berry addressed the Council with her concerns of no crosswalk at the Middle School. At one time the school provided a crossing guard for students to safely cross the street. Comm. Bexheti explained to Ms. Berry the City has already been in conversations with the school district for a solution. The City has no problem painting a crosswalk, but the school’s insurance would not allow a crosswalk/crossing guard if there was not a sidewalk on the other side of the street for the students to cross over to.

Being no other business to be discussed, a motion was made by Comm. Bexheti, seconded by Comm. Pohlman, to adjourn the meeting at 6:14 p.m. Roll call vote showed all voted aye, no nays, motion carried.
