A. FILED FOR SECOND READING:
1) An Ordinance Amending Chapter 118, Article II, of the Codified Ordinances of the City Of Edwardsville (Sewer) - Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council
2) Approval of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 114, Article II of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Edwardsville (Traffic Control) - Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council
B. NEW ITEMS:
1) Resolution Approving a Special Use Permit for a Religious Institution at 1631 Yellowhammer Crossing. Steve provided information. Robin Rubenstein -parking on campus allowed, Fuller Center raised cost on SIUE campus, hours of operation are 8am to 9pm. Maria Fitzgerald -SIUE student, in favor. Michelle Fitzgerald -home backs up to Yellowhammer Ct. and is in favor. Kim Hawk -resides in the neighborhood and doesn't believe there will be parties but is still opposed. Joseph Weber-resides at 1545 Lewis Rd. and is opposed to the use of property. Erin Danaher -A member of the Board of Newman Center is advisory. The property would be owned by Diocese. Sean Barth -mentioned. that the garage will look like a building. John Falcone -feels that this group will be low key. Mike Pellock believes there will be more students than planned. He is opposed and has safety issues with people walking with no sidewalks. Jane Ann -resides at 1517 Weber Dr. and is concerned about the roads. - Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause). Motion to table (Krause), seconded (Burns) and voted all ayes.
2) A Resolution Approving a Special Use Permit for a Drive-Thru Facility at 2104 Governors Parkway. - Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council
3) Approval of Professional Services Agreement with PGAV Planners, LLC for the City Of Edwardsville comprehensive Plan - Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council
4) Approval of the RASE Board items from May 2, 2023 and June 6, 2023
a) Edwardsville Homecoming Parade
b) Leclaire Parkfest
Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Burns) and voted one abstain (Krause) and two ayes to forward to Council
5) A Parade Resolution Approving IDOT Temporary Closure of Highways for the Rotary Criterium. Motion to approve (Grant), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council
