State Representative Charles Meier (IL) | Representative Charles Meier (R) 109th District
State Representative Charlie Meier is set to host a Free Senior Citizen Fair, offering a range of resources and services to older adults in the community. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Highland VFW, located at 1900 VFW Road in Highland, IL.
"We are excited to bring together various government agencies and local businesses to provide our senior citizens with valuable resources and support," said State Representative Charlie Meier.
Attendees at this year's Senior Fair can look forward to receiving free health screenings, helpful guides, literature, and other resources that will aid them in leading healthier and more informed lives. Representatives from the General Assembly will also be present to address any questions or concerns constituents may have.
In addition to the informative offerings, the event will feature refreshments, including cookies and donuts. Attendees are encouraged to sign in upon arrival for a chance to win a door prize at the end of the event.
"We want to make this a fun and engaging experience for our senior citizens, while also providing them with vital information and services," added State Representative Charlie Meier.
