State Representative Amy Elik (R-Alton) is organizing a Holiday Food Drive at her district office in Alton from December 5th to December 20th. The initiative aims to provide assistance to families facing financial difficulties during the holiday season.

In a statement, Rep. Amy Elik acknowledged the challenges that many families face during this time of year. She highlighted the increased cost of food and emphasized the importance of supporting those who are struggling. She said, "With higher food costs and the Holiday season underway, this time of year is very difficult for families trying to make ends meet. If you are able, please join me in helping us put food on the table for struggling families this Holiday season."

The Holiday Food Drive will take place at State Representative Amy Elik's district office, located at 192 Alton Square Mall Dr., Suite C in Alton. Non-perishable food items can be donated between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

All non-perishable food items collected during the drive will be donated to the Crisis Food Center in Alton, which provides essential support to individuals and families in need. The center plays a vital role in ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry.
