Illinois State Representative Amy Elik is once again spearheading the "Valentines for Veterans" initiative, now in its fourth year. The program, which invites students and residents to create valentine cards for veterans, aims to show appreciation and gratitude for their service to the nation.

Rep. Elik expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, "Sending a valentine to a veteran for Valentine's Day shows that we appreciate their service to our country and that we have not forgotten about their love for our nation." Participants of all ages are encouraged to create valentine cards or drawings. The cards should be delivered to Rep.
