9. Discuss Community Symposium

1. What is the actual date of the symposium? We have multiple groups sharing the campus and we will need a date (or even better several proposed dates) to ensure that the space you need will be available.

2. What kind of space do you need? You mention a “resource fair…and…a panel presentation.” Are you envisioning a large space with information tables scattered throughout so visitors can walk around to get information? Are you asking for a space for a panel discussion that will require a sound system, multimedia capabilities, and seating for participants and an audience? It is important for us to know these details so that we can help prep/reserve the types of spaces that will meet the needs of your planned symposium.

3. How many people do you anticipate coming? Both the number of organizations showcased as well as visitors?

4. And finally, for the mayor’s office: will you want the mayor to participate in a panel discussion? Do you want any other city representatives to participate? And what generally are the topics you wish to explore so that they will have materials prepared and available for your visitors.
