On Wednesday, March 13, former Gillespie High School standout Sydney Bires’ current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division II game against the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.

The game took place in Winter Haven, Florida. This was their first matchup against the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Winter Haven, Florida against Caldwell Cougars.
