On Sunday, March 3, former Red Bud High School standout Sophia Koesterer’s current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II game against the Washburn Ichabods.

The game took place in O'Fallon, Illinois. This was their first matchup against the Washburn Ichabods this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 9 at 8:15 a.m. in Winter Haven, Florida against Wayne State Wildcats.
