Rep. Schmidt to host community blood drive on June 4

State Representative Kevin Schmidt is set to host a blood drive in collaboration with ImpactLife. The event will occur on Tuesday, June 4th, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the O’Fallon Township Lot, located at 801 E. State St. in O’Fallon.

“Did you know that every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and/or platelets?” Rep. Schmidt stated. “The need for blood donations is very real. Approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every single day in the U.S. I’d love to see you at our blood drive. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.”

While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are strongly encouraged to minimize wait times. Interested donors can schedule an appointment through the ImpactLife Donor Portal at bloodcenter.org.

Rep. Schmidt serves the people of the 114th District.
