State Representative Kevin Schmidt is hosting a blood drive in collaboration with ImpactLife. The event is scheduled for June 4th from 2 to 6 p.m. at the O’Fallon Township Lot, located at 801 E. State St. in O’Fallon.

“Did you know that every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and/or platelets?” Rep. Schmidt stated. “The need for blood donations is very real. Approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every single day in the U.S. I’d love to see you at our blood drive. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.”

Blood donors are still needed for the event. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are strongly encouraged to minimize wait times. Appointments can be made through the ImpactLife Donor Portal at bloodcenter.org.
