City of Edwardsville Foreign Fire Insurance Board met May 13
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Meeting was called to order at 10:06. Members present were Heuchert, Rieger, Kemper, Gooden, Signorotti, Douglas and Whiteford.
Visitor Moody present.
Treasurer’s report presented. Approx $113,000 in account. Approx $41,000 available for this meeting including outstanding approvals and recurring expenses.
Request for Expenditures – New
- Request from Whiteford for new department patches. Patches would replace the current dept patches and medic patches. Wanted to get the refresh done for the 150th anniversary of dept. Designs were presented – minor changes will be made to the designs presented at the meeting. Motion by Kemper, 2nd by Heuchert to purchase 500 of the new fire dept and new medic patches (1000 patches total) – NTE $4500. Discussion. After this purchase, city will be responsible for future purchases of patches. 7 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Motion by Heuchert, 2nd by Gooden to adjourn. Carried.
