State Representative Kevin Schmidt visited seniors at Revela at O’Fallon Senior Living Facility in O’Fallon this past Tuesday. Following his visit, he issued a statement: “I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with some local seniors at Revela at O’Fallon Assisted Living Facility this week,” Rep. Schmidt said. “We spoke about new legislation affecting our seniors. It was a wonderful visit, and I was honored to listen to their needs and concerns. Thank you, Revela at O’Fallon for having me and all the wonderful work you do for our seniors!"

A notable moment of the visit included meeting Celeste Stiehl, who became the first Assistant House Minority Leader in 1975, making her the first woman in a leadership position in state legislature. “Thank you, Celeste, for being a groundbreaker and making history in our state!” Schmidt added.

Rep. Schmidt serves the people of the 114th District.
