City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met June 27

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Alderman Krause called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois. 

Roll Call: Alderman Krause, Chairman, Alderwoman Miracle and Alderman Farrar were present. 

Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Kevin Head, City Administrator; Devin Gray, IT Director; James Arnold, Economic Community Development/ Grants Coordinator; Scott Placlo, Resident of Highland, IL; Justin Venvertront, Resident of Glen Carbon; Mike Garrett, Resident and Charles Bolinger, Edwardsville Intelligencer. 

No public comment was made. 

Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on May 02, 2024. Motion carried with Krause, Miracle and Farrar voting aye.

New Business: 

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, July 02, 2024 Council meeting. 

Motion by Krause, seconded by Farrar, to approve and forward to Council a Resolution Authorizing an Agreement to Encourage Development Within T.I.F. District #2. Motion carried with Krause, Miracle and Farrar voting aye. 

Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle, to approve and forward to Council the approval of additional IMLRMA (Illinois Municipal League Risk Mamangement Association) Cybersecurity Coverage for Plan Year 2024 in the amount of $15,724.00. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye. Farrar abstained. 

Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, July11, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall. 

There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
