Rep. Schmidt shared insights from his "Day in the Life" on August 23rd, offering a glimpse into his activities across District 114.
“Last Friday, I had a ‘Day in the Life’ where I visited various locations around my district so people can see what I do,” Schmidt said.
The day included a job fair in East St. Louis, visits to historic sites in Cahokia Heights, time at his chiropractic office, and stops at a senior center and Ott’s for their Friday Fish Fry. He also engaged with constituents about state issues at their doors and concluded with a visit to Millstadt Primary Center.
“It was wonderful to spend time speaking to the people I serve and seeing first-hand the hard work they are putting in to better our communities,” Schmidt stated. “Although every day looks different, it’s such a blast getting to visit all the communities in my district so I can represent all of you. Thank you to everyone who makes District 114 what it is!”
