The Illinois Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus, a bipartisan group, is known for its advocacy of hunting, fishing, trapping, and wildlife management throughout the state. A significant part of their efforts includes promoting outdoor recreation through youth sporting scholarships.
Members of the Sportsmen’s Caucus actively raise funds each year to support local youth sporting teams. Recently, Rep. Kevin Schmidt took part in this initiative by presenting a check to the Cub Scout Group of Millstadt.
This gesture is part of ongoing efforts by the caucus to encourage and support young people in engaging with outdoor activities and sports.
