Amy Elik begins third term representing Illinois' District 111

State Representative Amy Elik (IL) | Representative Amy Elik (R) 111th District

State Representative Amy Elik was sworn in for her third term as the representative for District 111 in the Illinois General Assembly. Elik, a Republican from Alton, secured her position following the 2024 General Election.

"I am so grateful to the people of the 111th district for putting their trust in me to serve them for two more years," said Rep. Elik. "I am honored to serve as your voice in Springfield and am committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to the people of the 111th district."

Elik emphasized her focus on making Illinois safer and more affordable. "My focus is making Illinois a safer and more affordable place to raise a family, start a business, and retire," she stated. "I’m going to continue to hold Springfield accountable on policies that affect safety and affordability."

Highlighting her commitment to constituent services, Elik mentioned her District Office's achievements. "Since I was first elected, I’ve placed a strong emphasis on helping constituents through my District Office," she noted. "I’m proud to say that my office helps hundreds of constituents every year navigate the complexities of state agencies."

The 111th district includes parts or all of several communities such as Alton, East Alton, Wood River, Roxana, South Roxana, Bethalto, Rosewood Heights, Godfrey, Hartford, Pontoon Beach, Granite City, Maryville, and Glen Carbon.
