FOIA Request to Madison County Clerk Regarding 2025 Consolidated Elections Candidates on January 14, 2025. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Metro East Sun have submitted a request for public records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
The requested information includes a list of candidates running for the upcoming 2025 Consolidated Elections. We have asked for specific details such as the candidate's name, the date they filed their candidacy, and the office they are running for.
