On February 5th, Rep. Bost highlighted Illinois' longstanding tradition of honoring veterans, emphasizing the role of the Woman’s Relief Corps (WRC) in this legacy. He noted that "Illinois has a proud history of honoring our veterans, and the Woman’s Relief Corps has been a part of that legacy for over a century." The WRC is recognized as the oldest national women’s patriotic organization and auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic.
Later that day, Rep. Bost announced an initiative by his staff to host mobile office hours across Southern Illinois throughout February. This effort aims to provide constituents with direct access to casework experts regarding various federal services.
