Rep. Mike Bost, representing Illinois' 12th district in the U.S. Congress, has been actively engaging with key legislative issues through his recent social media posts. Serving since 2015, Bost has a long history of public service, including roles in the Illinois House of Representatives and on the Jackson County Board.

On May 15, 2025, Rep. Bost shared that he had completed a "15 hour long mark-up in the Agriculture Committee of the House budget reconciliation package." He emphasized that this was "one step closer to providing our farmers the certainty they deserve." Read more.

Later that day, Bost addressed law enforcement safety by highlighting that "in 2022, 64 police officers were killed in the line of duty," underscoring the dangers faced by law enforcement officers daily.
