State Representative Amy Elik (IL) | Representative Amy Elik (R) 111th District
State Representative Amy Elik, alongside Governor JB Pritzker and other local leaders, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for Wieland Rolled Products North America's new facility in East Alton. The project represents a $500 million investment by Wieland and aims to retain hundreds of jobs in the Metro East area while increasing production capabilities.
“There’s so many great things happening in the Metro East,” stated Rep. Elik during the event. “I’m glad to welcome state and local leaders to the 111th district to celebrate Wieland’s bold investment and commitment to Illinois.”
Wieland operates several locations across Illinois, including sites in Carol Stream, Granite City, Montgomery, Tinley Park, and Wheeling.
