Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt is set to host a job fair on November 6, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Wyvetter H. Younge Higher Education Campus in East St. Louis.

Schmidt expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “I’m looking forward to connecting with individuals who are interested in joining the workforce and help them navigate opportunities available.” He emphasized the value of the job fair as a chance for attendees to present their resumes directly to local businesses and discuss career paths with potential employers.

Local businesses are encouraged to participate in the event. Interested companies can download a form and submit it via email.
