State Representative Kevin Schmidt will host a Property Tax Appeal Seminar in Smithton on July 9. The seminar aims to assist homeowners in understanding the process of appealing property tax assessments. Residents from the 114th District are invited to attend.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their property tax bills and will receive information on how to appeal taxes. Legislative staff will be present to address questions about state issues.
The event is presented by St. Clair County Board member Ed Cockrell.
