The following day, September 13, 2025, Bost addressed border security policy and law enforcement: "For too long, weak enforcement under the Biden-Harris Administration allowed dangerous individuals to break our laws and threaten American communities. On September 14, 2025, Bost announced receiving recognition from an agricultural advocacy group: "I was honored to receive the Fueling Growth Award from Growth Energy for supporting Southern Illinois agriculture and the ethanol industry.
