Rep. Mike Bost, U.S. Congressman for Illinois' 12th district, marked National Truck Driver Appreciation Week and reflected on recent meetings and the passing of a former governor in a series of posts on September 14, 2025.

Mike Bost has represented Illinois' 12th congressional district since winning election in 2014 against William L. Enyart. He has subsequently won re-election multiple times: defeating Charles Baricevic in 2016; Raymond Lenzi in 2020; Brendan Kelly in 2018; and Chip Markel most recently in 2022.
