1. Resolution to Purchase Two (2) New Single Axle Dump Trucks with Snowplows for the Madison County Highway Department

Description: Purchase of 2 new dump trucks to replace aging equipment. Justification: Must keep and maintain vehicle fleet in good working order to continue operational work on highways.

Vendor: Truck Centers, Inc. in Troy

Terms of Agreement: One time purchase by contract

Amount: $410,944.00

COMPETITIVE BIDDING: Section 34.05 Purchase Orders (ii) For purchases greater than $30,000 for Goods, Equip, Services or $35,000 for the use, purchase, delivery, movement, or installation of data processing equipment, software, or services, or services and telecommunications and interconnect equipment, software, and services, or professional services the agency shall forward a requistion to direct the Purchasing Department to procure the goods or services through a competitive seal bid proposal process.

G. PURCHASE REQUESTS:

1. Repairs to 2016 Kenworth T370 Truck #154

Description: Repairs made to dump truck #154 due to engine oil leak. Also repaired other defects during 6 month inspection.

Justification: Optimal to have a Kenworth dealer provide service and genuine parts on a Kenworth machine.

Vendor: CIT Trucks

Terms of Agreement: One time payment of invoice for repairs

Amount: $10,444.98
