The Emergency Telephone System Board for Madison County, Illinois will meet at 10:30 a.m. today in the 9-1-1 Coordinator’s Office Training Room at 101 E. Edwardsville Road in Wood River.

After approving the minutes from its previous meeting, the board will hear public comments, and go over claims and purchase order recommendations.

From there, the board will turn to old business, followed by the coordinator’s report on both recycling and disposal of equipment, and setting the ETSB meeting dates for 2016. Next, the board will go over the consolidation report and then tackle any new business items on the table.

The Madison County Emergency Telephone System Board exists to oversee implementation and maintenance of the 911 emergency telephone system for the county. Terence H. McFarland is the director.
