During the Jan. 7th meeting of the Plan Commission of Granite City, Illinois, Premier Civil Engineering will present a petition for a CVS store.
Premier Civil Engineering is requesting a preliminary and final plat review for the establishment of a CVS store and drive through at 3319 Nameoki Rd. Additionally, Steve Vaughn of Vaughn Auto Repair will request a special-use permit in order to operate his automotive repair shop. The site, 1221 W. Pontoon Rd., is zoned R-2 Single Family Residential District.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the Second Floor Council Chambers of the City Hall Building, 2000 Edison Ave.
The Plan Commission, which meets on the first Thursday of every month, oversees the city’s comprehensive plan, which serves as a blueprint for future city growth. Eleven members make up the commission and they bring recommendations on zoning and land use to the City Council.
