The Real Estate Tax Cycle Committee for Madison County, Illinois, will meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, to discuss tax sale deed resolutions, bill and purchasing approvals, as well as new business.
The meeting will be held in the Madison County Administration Building, located at 157 N. Main St. in Edwardsville, Illinois.
The Real Estate Tax Cycle Committee exists to oversee the County Assessment Office and liaise with the board of review. It manages the real estate tax cycle in coordination with county departments and elected officials. It puts forth any necessary recommendations for the county board as it relates to delinquent tax properties.
Larry Trucano is the chair of the committee. Committee members include Terry Davis, Nick Petrillo, Steve Brazier, Mike Walters, Tom McRae and Roger Alons.
