The Finance and Government Operations Committee for Madison County, Illinois, will convene at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, to examine significant purchasing resolutions and a list of immediate emergency appropriations.
The committee will assess a resolution to purchase one new tandem axle dump truck with a snowplow for the Madison County Highway Department. It will also review a resolution for the purchase of 30 Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme Mobile Data Computers and 55 Havis DS-Dell-402-3 docking stations for the Sheriff’s Office.
Four immediate emergency appropriations will be discussed: one each from the jail commissary and child advocacy, one assessing the TWP Motor Fuel Tax and one examining the 2015 AFIX/VFC Grant.
Also of note at the meeting will be a resolution authorizing the purchase of excess insurance, a safety and risk management resolution for the Self-Insured Worker’s Compensation Program.
The meeting will be held in the Madison County Administration Building, which is located at 157 N. Main St. in Edwardsville, Illinois.
