The Judiciary Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently convened to tackle a host of topics relating to the detention home, probation, circuit court and sheriff's office.
At the meeting’s start, K. Geschwend gave a monthly report on the ongoing projects pertaining to county buildings. S. Bowker then gave out his monthly report for the detention home.
J. Dallas from probation presented a purchase request for training and consulting services at a cost of $15,375. The request was approved. Afterwards, T. Picchioldi of the circuit court made two purchase requests. The first one was for replacement chairs for jury deliberation at a cost of $5,056.80. The second one was to renew the telephone support and software for the jury management system at a cost of $5,599.57. The requests were approved.
J. Conner from the sheriff’s office submitted the monthly jail support along with purchase requests for an Afix tracker and verifier support at a cost of $5,707.50, as well as ammo training and duty rounds at a cost of $11,740. The purchases were also approved.
