The Buildings and Facilities Management Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently met to note the status of its most important committee projects.
The committee walked through projects alphabetically, starting with the current administration building and courthouse projects, both of which were up to date and on schedule.
The Criminal Justice Center project update included a note that the feeder wire had been replaced. At the Detention Home, lockets were being replaced as time allowed.
The committee oversees the Buildings and Lands Department, recommending any new facility needs and janitorial or waste services to City Council. It also oversees utility management and approves expenditures according to the purchasing ordinance for all county buildings and facilities.
Art Asadorian is the chair of the committee. Committee members include Mick Madison, Joe Semanisin, Steve Adler, Bruce Malone, Roger Alons and Jim Dodd.
