The Buildings and Facilities Management Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently met to assess status updates for a number of projects.
After approving the minutes from its January meeting, the committee looked at the project status for engineering services at the courthouse, a camera system replacement at the detention home, a camera replacement and architectural and engineering study at the jail and elevator modernizations and health department carpet replacements at Wood River.
Also of importance at the meeting was a request by the Mental Health Department to use the Administration Building’s first-floor lobby for Child Abuse Awareness month, which begins on April 1. Vendor tables will be set up, and the press will be in attendance.
Before adjourning, the committee noted that the next meeting would take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 7.
