The Climate Protection and Energy Efficiency Committee for Godfrey, Illinois, recently gathered to examine an ICLEI membership update, assess the sustainability plan and hear public comments.
Chairman Nate Kenner reported that the membership software purchase for the ICLEI was complete. An intern would prepare the inventory process.
Kenner also noted that he would forward a copy of the latest version of the Sustainability Plan to committee members for consideration at later meetings.
During the public comment portion of the meeting, Clerk Pam Whisler reported that she would contact Shred-It Company for a 2016 date in July. Whisler will report back to the committee at the next meeting.
Kenner is the chairman of the committee. Those present at the meeting included Carolyn Scott, Vanette McConahey, Susan Murray, Don Dieckmann and Whisler.
